OFFICE SEEKS HELP IN SEARCH FOR ORMOND BEACH MAN
T
he Volusia County
Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a
41-year-old Ormond Beach man who bonded out of jail this week but is now
wanted on at least two more arrest warrants. Anyone with information
about the whereabouts of James F. Hines can report the information
anonymously and qualify for a reward of up to $1,000.
Hines was arrested
over the weekend on charges that included burglary and grand theft. He
was released from the Volusia County Branch Jail on Monday after posting
bond. The next day, two more arrest warrants were issued for Hines, and
deputies have been searching for him ever since. The additional charges
include a violation of the terms of his release on a pending domestic
battery complaint and a contempt of court for violating an injunction
against repeat violence. Hines also has been named by the State Fire
Marshal’s Office as a suspect in a suspicious fire over the weekend
that burned down a home.
Hines
is a white man who’s approximately 5’6” and weighs about 160
pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information about

anonymous and can qualify for a reward of up to $1,000.
