VIDEO CONNECTED TO ARMED ROBBERY RELEASED

Volusia County Sheriff’s investigators have released video surveillance of two men who are possibly connected to a robbery of a Deltona restaurant September 2. The video came from a nearby convenience store and shows two men fitting the robbers’ descriptions buying something a short time before the restaurant robbery. It is hoped that the video along with a reward of up to $1,000 will prompt someone to come forward with information about the incident.

The robbery was called in to the Sheriff’s Office at approximately 10:52 p.m. right after two men, one armed with a gun and the other armed with brass knuckles, had taken off with cash from Little Caesars Pizza on Providence Boulevard. Both suspects were described as black men between the ages of 19-24. One was between 5’5” and 5’8” and about 195 pounds, with chubby cheeks. The other was between 5’10” and 6’ and about 200 pounds. They drove away in a small, dark-colored passenger car.

The men investigators are interested in can be seen in the video walking into the store and buying something. One is shorter, wearing dark clothes and something on his head. The other is taller, wearing a basketball jersey, and appears to be bald.

Previous news release about the robbery can be found here: http://www.volusia.org/sheriff/press/070150.htm
