SHERIFF'S OFFICE LOOKING FOR MISSING DELTONA MAN 

The Volusia County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a missing Deltona man. The subject, Alfonso Milian, is an 82-year-old who suffers from beginning stages of Alzheimer’s Disease and takes medications for high blood pressure and diabetes. Please see attached missing persons flyer. Milian’s son contacted the Sheriff’s Office Friday morning to report that he hadn’t seen Milian in about two days. It’s believed that he left in a white Jeep Cherokee with tag number K423SF. The son said that Milian has left on previous occasions and forgot how to get home, and that he was found once in Marion County and once in Osceola County. 

Milian is 5’9” and weighs about 180 pounds. He has brown eyes and white hair. It’s unknown what he may have been wearing when he left. Anyone who spots him or has information on his possible whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at (386) 736-5999.

Update: 08/10/09 - 1:20 p.m.

Volusia County Sheriff’s Office investigators are continuing their search for missing 82-year-old Alfonso Milian of Deltona. They are exploring several investigative avenues, such as learning that there has not been any activity on Milian’s credit card account, and they are contacting hospitals throughout the state to see if was admitted somewhere for medical assistance.
