PORT ORANGE COUPLE ARRESTED ON CHILD ABUSE CHARGES
On March 16,
2009 the Port Orange Police Department was notified by a Volusia
County Public School, requesting a report of possible child
abuse regarding one of their 12-year-old students. The
investigation was conducted with the assistance of the Florida
Department of Children and Families and the Child Advocacy
Center. On March 17, 2009 the Port Orange Police Department
Criminal Investigations Division obtained felony arrest warrants
for the two below listed individuals. Both defendants were
arrested shortly after, and transported to the Volusia County
Branch Jail.
