POLICE INVESTIGATE SUBWAY RESTAURANT ROBBERY
The
Port Orange Police Department Criminal Investigations Division
is currently investigating an armed robbery which occurred on
April 12, 2009 at 7:33 pm. The Subway Restaurant located at 3751
Clyde Morris Boulevard was the business victimized.
An unidentified
black male suspect brandishing a silver and black semi-automatic
handgun forced the employee to open the cash register, and turn
over the contents of the cash drawer. The black male suspect
then hopped over the counter and exited the front door, he was
last observed running in a southern direction.
The
black male suspect was described as follows: dark complexion,
age approximation is the teens to early twenties, 5-7, 140,
(thin build). He was last seen wearing baggy short sleeve
t-shirt, baggy black pants, pair of black and white athletic
shoes, and a black baseball cap with an unknown design on the
front of the cap and bill.
