                                     SUSPECT ARRESTED IN RESTAURANT ROBBERY       

On August 24, 2009 at approximately 1:30 a.m. the 100% Italian Restaurant located at 1781 Dunlawton Avenue was broken into by smashing the east window of the business. The suspect entered the business and proceeded to steal the restaurant’s security safe and its contents. A follow up investigation led to a current employee named Justin Wilson, who has a history of being involved in similar cases. 

On August 25, 2009 Detective Scott Brozio arrested 26-year-old Wilson in New Smyrna Beach while Wilson was completing Community Service work hours for a previous arrest. Wilson,  2243 So. Peninsula Drive, Daytona Beach is currently on probation. 

He was charged with Burglary to a Business, Grand Theft, and Vandalism concerning the 100% Italian Restaurant. Upon completion of the booking process he was transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail under a “no bond status” due to his probationary conditions.
