On
September 29, 2009 at approximately 10:30 am a unidentified
white male entered into the Colonial Bank located at 900

the bank teller put all of the money in a bag, and he
relayed to the bank teller that he was “desperate”. The bank
teller handed an undisclosed amount of money to the
unidentified white male along with a dye pack. The
unidentified white male was last observed driving from the
area in a black in color vehicle.
The Regional
Communications Center then received a 911 call at 10:48 am
from a male who stated that he had just committed a bank
robbery and wanted to turn himself in to authorities. He
provided the name of Tony Olea , along with a date of birth
as well as his vehicle description and current location
which was the Chevron gas station at S.R. 44 and I-95 in New
Smyrna Beach. Tony Olea, 3009 Lime Tree Drive, Edgewater,
was still on the phone when Port Orange Police Detective

and positively identified 42-year-old Oleo as the bank
robber. Detective Eric Fields placed Tony Oleo under arrest
for Robbery and after processing he was transported to VCBJ
