                                         POLICE LOOKING FOR APARTMENT FLASHER

The female victim in this investigation was delivering the Daytona Beach News Journal in the early morning hours; her assigned route tasked her with distribution in the Ocean Oaks Apartment complex. During the victims delivery she noticed on four separate occasions, a male who would be wearing a shirt only and exposing himself to her in the stairwell area.

Detective Eric Fields was able to make contact with an individual who was out in the area in question, during the time frame provided by the victim. Sufficient evidence was gathered which led to the identification and subsequent charges against Laterrell D. Humphries.  

On October 30, 2009 the Criminal Investigations Division obtained an arrest warrant against Laterrell D. Humphries reference four counts of Exposure of Sexual Organs. The arrest warrant was signed by Judge Shawn Briese and the bond amount was set at $ 6,000.00. The current whereabouts of the suspect is unknown at this time.

Update:

On October 30, 2009 at 5:28 pm Detective Eric Fields arrested Laterrell D. Humphries

in the 4900 block of Clyde Morris Boulevard in Port Orange. He was processed at the Port Orange Police Department and transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail under the $ 6,000.00.
