Explore Volusia: Protected species hike

Take a guided, one-mile hike through Scrub Oak Preserve, 1495 McGregor Road, DeLand. Participants will learn about the important role this habitat plays in Volusia County’s conservation efforts for scrub jays, gopher tortoises, and black bears. All ages are welcome. Wear closed-toe shoes.
Volusia County’s Environmental Management Division sponsors Explore Volusia to acquaint residents with the county’s conservation lands and land management practices.
