Two or more members of the Volusia County Council may attend a meeting of the Roundtable of Volusia County Elected Officials at noon Monday, May 14, in the second-floor Dennis McGee Room at the Daytona Beach International Airport, 700 Catalina Drive.
Volusia County Schools Superintendent Tom Russell and Sheriff Mike Chitwood will give a presentation about the state legislation to provide school resource officers. Roundtable members will discuss the financial responsibilities of the cities and the county.
A separate discussion will focus on the County Council's actions related to the half-cent sales tax resolution.
