Experience the elegance of a traditional Victorian afternoon tea with samplings and etiquette lessons at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, at DeBary Hall Historic Site, 198 Sunrise Blvd., DeBary.
Guests may sample Earl Gray and peach teas as hostesses dressed in Victorian clothing describe the history of tea and offer instruction on tea etiquette.
Tickets, which are $15 each, include a tour of DeBary Hall, two tea tastings and sample-size pastries. Seating is limited to 20 persons. Tickets must be purchased by Feb. 1 by contacting Tracy Mestre at 386-668-3840 or email@example.com.
DeBary Hall Historic Site, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is owned by the State of Florida and managed by the county’s Parks, Recreation and Culture Division. Tours of the 1871 hunting lodge are available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission prices are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $2 for children ages 3 to 12, and free for children 2 and younger.
