Adam Miller will sing and spin tales about America’s heritage at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, at the New Smyrna Beach Regional Library, 1001 S. Dixie Freeway.
An accomplished musician, historian and folklorist, Miller has amassed a repertoire of more than 5,000 songs that evoke a bygone time when entertainment was homemade. His rich baritone voice accompanies autoharp melodies and lively finger-picking acoustic guitar as he intertwines folk tales with folk music. The audience is invited to sing along.
Traveling 70,000 miles each year, this modern-day troubadour has performed in concert halls from the Everglades to the Arctic Circle.
Reservations are not required for the free performance. For more information, call 386-424-2910, option 4.
The New Smyrna Beach Regional Library is open from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
