Emily Jane Murray will discuss the misuse and abuse of Florida's past from an archaeology perspective at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 12, at the DeLand Regional Library, 130 E. Howry Ave.
Murray is the public archaeology coordinator for the Northeast Region of the Florida Public Archaeology Network. She will shed light on the fountain of youth, skunk ape, alien visitors, the Vero Man site and Spanish missions.
