Take a free, guided bike tour from DeBary Hall Historic Site to Lake Monroe Park beginning at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 11.
The tour guide will explain the area’s history from the Timucua Indians who inhabited the region thousands of years ago to the modern-day development of Gemini Springs Park. Riders will also learn about the area’s many plant, animal and fish species.
The nine-mile ride will include several stops along the way. Participants must bring a bicycle and helmet. Sunscreen and bottled water are also recommended.
