Journey's End Animal Sanctuary

Event Date(s)

Begins: April 3, 2018 2:00 pm
Ends: April 3, 2018 4:00 pm

What happens to animals that are abused or neglected or have special needs? If they’re lucky, they’ll go to Journey's End Animal Sanctuary, which provides lifetime care and shelter for dogs, cats, horses, pigs, sheep and birds.

Florence Thuot, founder of Journey’s End, will explain the sanctuary’s mission during a free presentation at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, at the Port Orange Regional Library, 1005 City Center Circle. She’ll bring along some of her animal residents and share their touching stories.

Rather than emphasizing adoption, Journey's End provides a homelike setting where animals can enjoy the remainder of their lives in a comfortable, loving atmosphere. Learn more about the sanctuary at www.journeysendsanctuary.org.

Reservations are not required for the free program, which is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. For more information, call the library at 386-322-5152, option 4.
