Volusia County’s Community Assistance Division will hold public meetings with municipalities and the public on April 12 and 16 to discuss the availability of Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery funds through a competitive cycle for areas affected by Hurricane Matthew.
A meeting will be held on each side of the county to accommodate every municipality and as many members of the public as possible.
The meetings are scheduled for:
County employees will review the funding requirements, the unmet housing needs assessment, and proposed strategies for a regional application. They also will seek input from municipalities and the public.
