Public Safety Coordinating Council meeting

The Volusia County Public Safety Coordinating Council will meet from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Monday, June 18, in Suite 102 at the Emergency Operations Center, 3825 Tiger Bay Road, Daytona Beach.

Public officials, community groups and members of judicial, law enforcement and correctional services comprise the committee, which assesses the population of contracted and county-owned detention and correctional facilities. The committee makes recommendations to ensure facility capacities are not exceeded.

This notice also applies to written requests by a physically handicapped person needing a special accommodation to attend a public meeting in accordance with section 286.26, Florida Statutes.
