Volusia County’s Human Services Advisory Board will conduct a regularly scheduled quarterly meeting at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, at the United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties, 3747 W. International Speedway Blvd., Daytona Beach.
Prior to the meeting, at 1:30 p.m., staff will provide an overview Human Services programs and offer training covering advisory board roles and responsibilities.
Members will review financial and programmatic reports, election dates for representatives of low-income board members, board meeting dates for upcoming fiscal year, and the annual community action plan.
The advisory board assists the Volusia County Council in developing Community Services Block Grant program goals and objectives, identifying community needs, and evaluating program effectiveness.
