Learn how to read your dog

Event Date(s)

Begins: August 14, 2018 2:00 pm
Ends: August 14, 2018 3:00 pm

Dogs use their bodies to communicate, and they’re talking all the time. Like humans, they smile when they’re happy, stiffen when they’re tense, and pull back when they’re frightened. But what does it mean when they lick their lips, expose their stomach or raise their tail?

Tara Houser and Sam Brown of Real Pet Behavior, along with their sidekick ABA-Lee, will offer tips to understand what your dog is trying to tell you during a free presentation at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, at the Deltona Regional Library, 2150 Eustace Ave.

Reservations are not required. For more information, call 386-789-7207, option 1, then 4.
