Volusia County will host a public meeting to seek input on plans to add a public play area at the Hope Place homeless shelter.
Parks, Recreation and Culture Director Tim Baylie will present the county’s plans at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, in Hope Place’s cafeteria, 1340 Wright St., Daytona Beach. County Council Member Heather Post plans to attend.
The current plans call for a playground, multipurpose field, two basketball courts, benches, water fountains and landscaping.
