Damarys Melendez of the Alzheimer’s Association will discuss research in the areas of diet, nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, at the DeLand Regional Library, 130 E. Howry Ave., DeLand
She will also provide hands-on tools to incorporate the recommendations into a plan for healthy aging.
