Why is it best to eat locally and seasonally? When should you eat the largest meal of the day? When is the most effective time to exercise?

Julie Wilder, a food pioneer and co-founder of an organic café, will share her insights into gut ecology, flexitarianism and the circadian rhythm at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, at the DeLand Regional Library, 130 E. Howry Ave., DeLand.

Her research is based on Ayurveda, a life science based on natural cycles.

Registration is not required for this free program, which is sponsored by the Friends of the DeLand Library. For more information, call the library at 386-822-6430, ext. 20762.
