Mary Rockefeller of the Green Volusia program will explain how to work with Florida’s climate, soil and weather conditions to keep nitrogen and phosphorus pollution out of our waterways at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at the DeLand Regional Library, 130 E. Howry Ave.
She will also share information about Volusia County’s fertilizer ordinance.
Green Volusia is the county’s long-term initiative to provide residents and visitors information about green and sustainable practices.
