Event Date(s)

Begins: December 1, 2018 2:00 pm
Ends: December 1, 2018 3:00 pm

Paul Dudley Bishop will discuss his work as a wildlife illustrator at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at DeBary Hall Historic Site, 198 Sunrise Blvd., DeBary.

Bishop took up a serious pursuit of wild bird art years ago while he was working for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission in southwest Florida. After moving to Volusia County, he built a printmaking studio and began a career as a full-time Florida wild bird artist. He published “The Florida Years,” a book of wild bird etchings, and has illustrated several wildlife study books and a cover for the Audubon's Florida Naturalist Magazine.

His free presentation is part of DeBary Hall’s Lemonade Lecture series.
