Creating a butterfly garden can be as simple as choosing flowering plants that will invite butterflies to your garden to feed, but it does require some planning.
Master Gardener Howard Jeffries will offer tips to get started at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 4, in DeBary Hall Historic Site’s stable, 198 Sunrise Blvd., DeBary. Jeffries, a volunteer with the University of Florida/Volusia County Extension, will describe the various butterfly species in Central Florida and explain how to attract them to your yard.
Reservations are not required. For more information, call DeBary Hall at 386-668-3840.
