Celebrate Volusia County’s native animals during Wildlife Fest from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Marine Science Center, 100 Lighthouse Drive, Ponce Inlet.
Attendees can meet glove-trained birds of prey, observe sea turtles undergoing lifesaving rehabilitation, and visit booths staffed by nature groups and crafters. The festival will also feature music, children’s activities and food vendors.
Animal rehabilitation staff will explain how they care for injured birds and sea turtles and offer tips to help conserve wildlife habitats.
Admission to the Marine Science Center will be free all day.
