Local author Marcia Meara will share information about Central Florida’s birds of prey at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 11, at DeBary Hall Historic Site, 198 Sunrise Blvd.
Meara will discuss common hawks, the summer visits of swallow-tailed kites, and the beautiful falcons that pass through the county during migration. She will also explain how to identify them and where to find them during this “indoor birdwatching” program.

DeBary Hall Historic Site, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is owned by the state and managed by the county’s Parks, Recreation and Culture Division.
