Volusia County’s Community Assistance Division will hold a public meeting to discuss the FY 2019/20 Consolidated One-Year Action Plan at 6 p.m. Monday, June 10, at the Alonzo “Babe” James Community Center, 201 N. Myrtle Ave., New Smyrna Beach.C
The county will receive $1,836,537 for the Community Development Block Grant program, $736,327 for the Home Investment Partnerships program, and $157,517 for the Emergency Solutions Grant program through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The action plan describes proposed projects to be completed with the entitlement funds and the goals and needs the projects will address.
Residents and interested agencies are encouraged to attend the public meeting and participate in discussions regarding the development of the plan.
