Public input sought on floodplain management plan

Volusia County’s Emergency Management Division will host two public meetings to engage the community in the development of a floodplain management plan. At the meetings the public can review and comment on the plan.

The meetings will be:

  • 9:30 a.m. to noon Friday, June 15, at the DeLand Regional Library, 130 E. Howry Ave., DeLand

  • 9 a.m. to noon Monday, June 18, at the Daytona Beach Regional Library, 105 E. Magnolia Ave., Daytona Beach

Residents are asked to provide comments as they complete one or more surveys. The survey links are:
