Bartlett installed as FAPA president

Volusia County Property Appraiser Larry Bartlett was installed for a two-year term as president of the Florida Association of Property Appraisers during its annual conference Oct. 24 in Daytona Beach Shores.

Bartlett has lived in the Ormond Beach area since 1970 and earned a law degree from the University of Florida. He practiced real estate law in Volusia County for 36 years, including eight years as Volusia County’s Value Adjustment Board attorney, before being elected as the county’s property appraiser in November 2016.

The Florida Association of Property Appraisers is a statewide professional organization composed of locally elected, constitutionally authorized property appraisers. The association provides continuing education and legislative updates to its members on a regular basis in an effort to maintain the highest professional standards in the real estate assessment industry.
