Author to host luncheon at DeBary Hall

Local author Marcia Meara will host a tea, luncheon and book signing from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at DeBary Hall Historic Site, 198 Sunrise Blvd., DeBary.

The $25 charge includes lunch, Meara’s custom-blended teas, a reading from one of her novels, and a signed copy of one of her books. Reservations are required; contact Tracy Mestre at 386-668-3840 or tmestre@volusia.org.

Meara, who announced her desire to become an author at age 5, began pursuing her dream with the publication of “Wake-Robin Ridge” in 2013 at age 69.
