Pat Northey, a prominent trails advocate, will share information about Volusia County’s trails system at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at DeBary Hall Historic Site, 198 Sunrise Blvd.
The county is an integral part of two trails of statewide significance: the Coast-to-Coast Connector and the 250-mile St. Johns River-to-Sea Loop.
Northey served on the Volusia County Council for 20 years and started working on the county’s trails initiative in 1993. She continues to serve on the St. Johns River-to-Sea Loop Alliance, a group that advocates for the continued construction of trails in East Central Florida.
Reservations are not required. For more information, contact Tracy Mestre at 386-668-3840 or email@example.com.
