Naming ceremony for future Edwin W. Peck Sr. Park

Volusia County will hold a ceremony to celebrate the future Edwin W. Peck Sr. Park to be constructed at 3167 S. Atlantic Ave. The ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. June 21 at the Daytona Beach Shores Pavilion, 3048 S. Atlantic Ave. 

Since moving to Volusia County in 1968, Peck has developed or marketed over 30 condominium projects and has established himself as a real estate industry leader and legendary force for economic development, community service and job creation. 

The date of the ceremony is also Peck's 101st birthday.
