Home health care has been around for millennia, long before the first hospitals were built. Our ancestors relied on family members and neighbors to help them when they were sick or injured. Today’s home health agencies offer a wide range of professional services ranging from pain management to wound care.
Mary Ann Seeley of Halifax Health - Care at Home will discuss the history of home health services at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at the Port Orange Regional Library, 1005 City Center Circle. She will provide an overview of the types of services that are available at home.
