The Port Orange Regional Library is offering three free educational and social programs on Thursday, Feb. 27 to help adults learn new skills and make new friends. The library is located at 1005 City Center Circle. The schedule of programs is as follows:
Our Friends Memory Café: A memory café is a gathering space for people with dementia and their care partners to get together, socialize and enjoy a relaxing time. Space is limited. Caregivers must register in advance for themselves and their loved one or client. Registration is by telephone or in person at the reference desk. 2 p.m.-3 p.m.
Introduction to Genealogy: Interested in climbing the family tree? Come learn the basics of genealogy research and the free resources available at the Library.
6 p.m.-7 p.m.
Game Night: Enjoy a fun tabletop night out at the library. Bring your own games or play from the library’s curated collection.
