Children and Families Advisory Board to meet March 10

The Children and Families Advisory Board will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, at the Edgewater Public Library, 103 W. Indian River Blvd.
Members will review the proposed changes to the RSQ (request for service qualifications) service categories including revised risk factors, scope of work and funding allocations. They will also review the summer camp evaluation criteria for providers.
The Children and Families Advisory Board assesses and evaluates strategies to meet needs, monitors program compliance, advertises funding availability, recommends appropriations for programs serving children and families, and provides recommendations to the Volusia County Council on children and family issues.
