County to host COVID-19 panel discussion Friday on assistance

In the months since the COVID-19 pandemic began, both individuals and businesses have suffered financially. This Friday, June 5, Volusia County will host a live panel discussion addressing the many assistance programs and grants available for Volusia County residents. Friday’s event will start at 10 a.m. Panelists will include the following:

Brad Harris, business manager, Volusia County Economic Development

Carmen Hall, director, Volusia County Community Assistance

Robert Watson, director, Volusia County Veterans Services

Jeanne Rademacher, director of community programs, United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties

Friday’s panel discussion will be broadcast live on Volusia County Emergency Management’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/VolusiaCountyEmergencyManagement. The news media is welcome to attend and participate in the question-and-answer session. For members of the news media who wish to attend, the event will take place at the Volusia County Emergency Operations Center, 3825 Tiger Bay Road, Daytona Beach.
