Cultural Council to meet Nov. 19

The Cultural Council of Volusia County will meet at 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 19, at the News-Journal Center, 221 N. Beach St., Daytona Beach.
Members will review 2022-23 Florida Department of State Grant recommendations and the 2022 meeting list. They will also participate in a Mary McLeod Bethune statue tour.
The Cultural Council is appointed by the Volusia County Council to advise on matters relating to cultural arts in the community and to assist in the appropriation of operational grant funding for cultural and heritage organizations in the county.
