Explore DeBary Hall Historic Site during holiday evenings when candlelight will fill the 19th century mansion with a warm glow, accentuating its historic treasures and Christmas decorations.
The site will be open for tours at 6 and 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, and Saturday, Dec. 21. Guests will start out in the theater to hear about historic holiday traditions, sing a carol or two, and then be escorted to the mansion for an open style tour.
The mansion, once owned by the prominent deBary family, will be decorated with many Christmas trees, wreaths, and other festive adornments. Refreshments will be served.
Advance tickets must be purchased; call Lisa Perez at 386-668-3840. Admission prices are $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 3 to 12, and free for children 2 and younger.
DeBary Hall Historic Site, 198 Sunrise Blvd., is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It’s owned by the state and operated by Volusia County’s Parks, Recreation and Culture Division.
