All businesses with a physical location in Volusia County are required to have a current Volusia County business tax receipt unless exempt per Section 114-1(b) Tax Schedule of the Volusia County Code of Ordinances (click here for the list of exempt classifications).
The tax year is from Oct. 1 through Sept. 30 of the following year. Bills for each year are mailed July 1. A new receipt is issued for each year the tax is paid.
Renew Business Tax Receipt
Convenience fees are charged by the processing company. Credit card payment convenience fee = 2.6% w/$1.95 minimum. E-Check payment convenience fee = $1.50.
Print Business Tax Receipt
Print your paid Business Tax Receipt online. Search for your business, select the year you would like to print and you will see a Print Business Tax Receipt link in the receipt section.
Apply for a New Business Tax Receipt
Apply for a new Volusia County local business tax receipt online.
Make changes to an existing account
Apply to make changes to your existing Volusia county business tax receipt.
