Fertilizer Ordinance

  • Volusia County bans the use of fertilizer containing nitrogen or phosphorous from June 1 through Sept. 30.
  • Nitrogen in lawn and landscape fertilizers must be at least 50% slow release from Oct. 1 through May 31.
