As COVID-19 continues to affect our daily lives, we’ll once again discuss how the pandemic is impacting our mental wellness and what individuals can do to remain mindful and positive. The 10 a.m., Aug. 28 conversation will include how to discuss concerns with your friends and family, tips for coping with stress and how to maintain a positive outlook. Panelists for Friday’s discussion are:

  • Mark Spivey, clinical chaplain and licensed professional clinical counselor, Halifax Health
  • Dr. Luis G. Allen, medical director and psychiatrist, AdventHealth’s Center for Behavioral Health

Friday’s panel discussion will be broadcast live on Volusia County Emergency Management’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/VolusiaCountyEmergencyManagement. The news media is welcome to attend and participate in the question-and-answer session.
