County to host interactive interview with Dr. Klioze on COVID-19

Posted On: September 24, 2020

Local physician Dr. Scott Klioze will discuss the pathophysiology of COVID-19 during an interview with Volusia County Government at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25.

Don’t worry. You don’t have to be a medical expert to understand COVID-19’s pathophysiology. That’s because as a passionate educator, Dr. Klioze will simplify the anatomy and physiology of COVID-19, bringing complexity to simplicity. Even better, he is an avid videographer. Dr. Klioze will incorporate short video clips during the interview, and these animated close-ups of the disease and its impact on the human body will help viewers understand the issues.

Dr. Klioze is an interventional radiologist with Radiology Associates Imaging and practices at Halifax Health’s Medical and Level II Trauma Center in Daytona Beach. He treats patients with COVID-19 and continually researches the peculiarities of the virus.

Friday’s interview will be broadcast live on Volusia County Emergency Management’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/VolusiaCountyEmergencyManagement. The news media is welcome to attend and participate in a post-interview question-and-answer session. For members of the news media who wish to attend, the event will take place at the Volusia County Emergency Operations Center, 3825 Tiger Bay Road, Daytona Beach.
