Al Weeks Sr. North Shore Park

(3.1 miles north of Granada Boulevard on S.R. A1A)

Open daily: Effective 10/5/19 hours are 6 am-7:30 pm; Daylight savings time (11/03/19) hours are 6 am- 6 pm

Al Weeks Sr. North Shore Park opened in June 2010 as part of the county’s continuing effort to provide beachfront recreation and off-beach parking.

Al Weeks Sr., who passed away in 2011, was a real estate agent and community volunteer who was dedicated to making his community a safe and enjoyable place to live. He was affectionately known as the unofficial mayor of Ormond-by-the-Sea. The park was renamed in his honor in November 2011.
