Our Mission
To provide animal services to the public in the most effective, efficient and courteous means possible. We will provide professional, proactive enforcement of Volusia County Code of Ordinances chapter 14 and the State Statutes pertaining to animals. We will promote responsible pet ownership by individual contact and community outreach programs.
Spay and Neuter Services
Volusia County Animal Services offers spay and neuter services at the VCACC. The state-of-the-art clinic provides low-cost animal sterilization to residents of Volusia County.

Now Hiring Veterinarian Assistants
We're looking for dedicated individuals to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or G.E.D. and two years' experience working in a veterinarian office assisting with animal spay/neuter surgery or certification as a veterinary technician. Learn more and apply.

Community outreach program
Animal Services has a speaker available for presentations on responsible pet ownership for your group, such as schools, boy scouts, girl scouts, homeowners associations and civic organizations. Please email adease@volusia.org to schedule your presentation.
