Conservation Lands Camping Reservations
Volusia County currently offers 8 campsites across 6 different preserves. These sites offer the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of Florida while staying directly in it. During your stay make sure to take time to appreciate the sounds of nature, the fresh air, the scenic views and the wildlife that call these preserves home. While camping here, you will get to experience Florida in a way that you will not forget.

Lake George Forest WMA Powerline Road Campsite
Location: 915 Powerline Road, Pierson, FL 32180
Amenities: Fire ring with grill grate, pavilion, port-o-let located at nearby Lake George Park (approximately .25 miles)
Allowable uses: Camping, hiking, biking, equestrian, hunting, kayaking, fishing
Special notes: 4wd vehicles are recommended after heavy rain events, hunting is regulated through Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC)
Lake George Forest WMA Buddy Martin Road Campsite
Location: Buddy Martin Road, Pierson, FL 32180
Amenities: Fire ring with grill grate
Allowable uses: Camping, hiking, biking, equestrian, hunting, kayaking, fishing
Special notes: 4wd vehicles are recommended after heavy rain events, hunting is regulated through Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC)
