Summer Break Camp 2026
Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to close three summer camp sites, Mary DeWees Park, Holly Hill School, and the Boy Scout Hut due to low registration numbers. This decision did not come lightly and has weighed heavily on everyone involved. We understand the impact this may have on families, and we are working to make the transition as smooth as possible. Parents will be offered alternative camp sites for transfer options, as well as refunds if they choose not to transfer.

Spring break program: Children ages 5-12 (please note, 5 year olds must be enrolled in kindergarten) can have a great spring break with 2-3 field trips that include but are not limited to going to the movies, bowling, outdoor playgrounds and more!

We also will have fun themed days at the camp!

Summer day camps: We’ve got the cure for the summertime blues for children ages 5 - 12 (please note, 5 year olds must have completed kindergarten)! Our recreation staff offers supervised fun at multiple schools and parks throughout Volusia County. Summer camp provides a fun, safe enviornment with two to three field trips weekly! These field trips include water parks, plays, bowling, movies, and so much more!
