Trish Thompson is a mixed media painter and professor in the Cultural Arts Department of Daytona State College. She also serves as part-time curator of education at the Southeast Museum of Photography and is a former curator of education at the Museum of Arts and Sciences, Daytona Beach. In 1995, she was recognized as Museum Educator of the Year by the Florida Art Education Association.

Thompson, a Panama City native, received a bachelor’s degree in studio art and a master’s degree in arts education and constructive design from Florida State University. Her work has been seen in museums and corporate collections throughout Florida and also is held in private collections in England and Colombia.
