Cypress Lake Park sits on the east side of Cypress Lake, off Kepler Road near DeLand. The children’s playground includes a slide and swings. A basketball court, boat ramp and barbecue grill also are on site. A picnic pavilion among cypress trees is a few yards from the water’s edge where turtles, egret and other wildlife spend their day.
