Location:  1365 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Orange City

Open daily: Sunrise to sunset

Admission: Free

One of Volusia County’s largest parks and recreation facilities, Pfc. Emory L. Bennett Veterans Memorial Park sits on 205 acres in Orange City. While its playground, football field and nature trails draw visitors and residents, the park is best-known for its numerous Little League baseball and softball fields and amenities.

On any given day or evening, teams of young baseball players or senior church softball teams pack the park and make use of its five full-sized playing fields. For evening play, the clay and grass turfs are lighted.

The park was developed by Volusia County's Parks, Recreation and Culture Division with financial assistance provided by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection through the Florida Recreation Department assistance program.
